We are raising funds for Comite De Kinshasa, a brilliant organization committed to supporting working-class Congolese people. The Comite has started a farming project that has already successfully harvested potatoes, started cultivating green peppers, cabbage, and are planting fruit trees. They say, “If we really want to end imperialism, we must first break up with any form of dependence, especially food dependence. It starts with growing ourselves what we eat, on our own land, according to our needs and valuing our knowledge."

Our fundraising goal is $860 CAD, or $20 per km.
